Notre Dame’s Rex Pflueger to miss remainder of season with torn ACL | NCAA Basketball

Notre Dame guard Rex Pflueger will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL in the Irish’s win over Purdue on Saturday.

Pflueger confirmed the news via a post on his Twitter late Monday morning:

The senior guard started every game for Notre Dame this season averaging 8.1 points, 4.3 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game. Pflueger started in 41 game over the last two season for the Irish. 

Notre Dame currently sits at 7-3 and has three non-conference games remaining against Binghamton, Jacksonville and Coppin State before opening ACC play on Jan. 1 at Virginia Tech.
