Four Notre Dame commits coming to campus for Pittsburgh game

When the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the No. 5 team in the country this year, take on the Pittsburgh Panthers this Saturday afternoon inside Notre Dame Stadium, there will be a couple of commits in attendance.

Irish Illustrated and 247Sports have learned that four future Fighting Irish football players are expected in South Bend on Saturday to check out Notre Dame in action.

Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren four-star defensive tackle Jacob Lacey has been committed to Notre Dame since July 29, 2017. The Top150 standout from the 2019 class will be in town to see if Notre Dame can improve to 7-0 on the year. The 6-2, 285-pounder chose the Irish over offers from Michigan, Clemson, Kentucky, Louisville, and many others. He is ranked as the No. 148 overall player in the country, No. 9 defensive tackle nationally and No. 2 recruit in Kentucky this cycle per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic four-star tight end Kevin Bauman, a Top150 prospect from the class of 2020, has been committed to Notre Dame since June 13. The 6-5, 238-pounder chose the Fighting Irish over offers from Boston College, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas A&M and many others. He is ranked as the No. 120 overall player in the country, No. 2 tight end nationally and No. 3 recruit in New Jersey from the 2020 class per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel three-star wide receiver Cam Hart has been committed to Notre Dame since July 4, The 6-3, 190-pounder from the class of 2019 chose the Fighting Irish over offers from Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Michigan State and many others. He is ranked as the No. 90 wide receiver nationally in the 2019 class per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Royal Center (Ind.) Pioneer three-star linebacker Jack Kiser is expected back on campus this weekend. The 6-2, 215-pounder has been a Fighting Irish pledge since June 12. He chose Notre Dame over offers from Indiana, Purdue, Duke, Illinois and others. He’s ranked as the No. 54 outside linebacker in the 2019 class per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
