
A notable former college football defensive coordinator has landed a new coaching job.
Brian VanGorder, a former defensive coordinator at Louisville and Notre Dame, has reportedly been hired by Bowling Green.
The school’s new head coach, Scot Loeffler, has hired him as an associate head coach and linebackers coach.

VanGorder, 59, was fired as Notre Dame’s defensive coordinator four games into the 2016 season.
He spent the 2017 season at Oklahoma State and this past season at Louisville.
