The ACC won’t release the 2019 schedule for league games until sometime later this month.
The league has typically released the schedule for the next season about two weeks after the national championship game in recent years.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t take an early peek at the opponents the University of Louisville will play during the 2019 season. It will be the first season for the Cardinals’ under new coach Scott Satterfield.
The non-conference games will be an opener at home against Notre Dame on Labor Day night before hosting Eastern Kentucky in week two, playing Western Kentucky in Nashville in week three and playing at Kentucky in the final week of the season.
The Cardinals finished last season with a 2-10 record and lost nine straight games to end the season. Bobby Petrino was fired with two weeks left in the season and Lorenzo Ward was the interim coach during the final two weeks. The Cardinals had made it to a bowl game in eight straight seasons before this campaign.
Here’s a look at the schedule with the ACC dates to be determined.
