College Football: Alabama Stays Unbeaten, Clemson and Notre Dame Also Win

Terry Wilson accounted for 340 yards and four touchdowns, Benny Snell Jr. rushed for two scores, and No. 17 Kentucky (9-3) routed its archrival Louisville (2-10), winning the Governor’s Cup on the road.

The Wildcats scored touchdowns on all five first-half drives and never trailed in posting their first nine-win regular season since 1977. Wilson completed 17 of 23 passes for 261 yards and rushed for 79 yards in his biggest game with Kentucky.

Eric Dungey threw for 362 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another three scores, leading No. 19 Syracuse (9-3, 6-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) over host Boston College (7-5, 4-4).

Dungey, who left last week’s game against No. 3 Notre Dame clutching his lower back, is the third player in program history to account for six scores in a game; the first was the Hall of Famer Jim Brown. With 32 running and passing touchdowns this year, Dungey also passed Donovan McNabb for the Syracuse single-season record.

Clayton Thorson accounted for three touchdowns, Isaiah Browser rushed for 166 yards on 18 carries, and No. 20 Northwestern (8-4, 8-1) beat visiting Illinois (4-8, 2-7) for its seventh straight Big Ten win.

Travis Homer rushed for 168 yards and a long touchdown, DeeJay Dallas ran back a punt for one of his two scores, and host Miami (7-5, 4-4 A.C.C.) closed its regular season by knocking off No. 24 Pittsburgh (7-5, 6-2). Dallas also had a rushing touchdown.

David Montgomery ran for three touchdowns, including the winner with about four and a half minutes to go, and 25th-ranked Iowa State (7-4, 6-3 Big 12) rallied from 17 points down in the fourth quarter and stunned visiting Kansas State (5-7, 3-6), ending a streak of 10 losses to the Wildcats.
